Online Pharmacy
The Shida Healthcare LTD online pharmacy service is operated from our office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Whilst we started operating on the 31st of October 2022, we have submitted our application for registration of our premises to the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN). Once we receive our license officially, we’ll update this page.
Our pharmacists are licensed by the PCN also.
Online Doctor
Our doctors are licensed with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Each virtual consultation with a doctor takes place in a virtual consultation room where you can choose to have a video call, an audio call or simply use the chat facility. The choice is completely yours.
Please note that the Shida Healthcare LTD online doctor service is mainly for uncomplicated medical conditions. If you have a medical emergency, we recommend that you contact your local hospital immediately.
About our Online Doctor Services
General Medicine
With this service, one of our medical doctors reviews your medical history from the health questionnaire that you completed with your booking to assess your health needs.
At the end of your consultation, the medical doctor might do one of the following things as appropriate:
- refer you for further tests
- write a prescription
- make a diagnosis or
- refer you to a specialist
The actual outcome would be decided after your consultation and would be based on your individual needs.
SOMEONE TO TALK TO Service
Just living is very hard these days and sometimes, we don’t want to talk to our family or friends about what we are going through.
With the Shida Healthcare SOMEONE TO TALK TO service, you can talk to one of non-medical member of staff in a judgement free online chat room.
Your conversation is confidential. However, if our staff feels that you or someone else are at risk of harm, they may signpost you for additional support or make a referral on your behalf. If they feel that you would benefit from speaking with one of our doctors so that an assessment could be made, they would discuss this with you.

I Need Contraceptives Service
With this service, one of our medical doctors reviews your medical history from the health questionnaire that you completed with your booking.
At the end of your consultation, the medical doctor might do one of the following things as appropriate:
- refer you for further tests eg pregnancy test
- write a prescription
- make a diagnosis or
- refer you to a specialist
The actual outcome would be decided after your consultation and would be based on your individual needs.
Mental Health Support Service
With this service, one of our medical doctors reviews your medical history from the health questionnaire that you completed with your booking and assess your mental health support needs.
At the end of your consultation, the medical doctor might do one of the following things as appropriate:
- refer you for further tests
- write a prescription
- make a diagnosis or
- refer you to a specialist eg a psychologist or other mental health doctor
The actual outcome would be decided after your consultation and would be based on your individual needs.
The doctor you see in this service is not a specialist psychologist. You would see a general medical doctor who would conduct an initial assessment before deciding on the best course of action with you.
Weight Loss Support Service
With this service, one of our medical doctors or specialist nurse prescribers reviews your medical history from the health questionnaire that you completed with your booking.
At the end of your consultation, the medical doctor or nurse prescriber might do one of the following things as appropriate:
- give you nutrition advice and support to help you lose weight
- refer you for further tests
- write a prescription
- make a diagnosis or
- refer you to a specialist
The actual outcome would be decided after your consultation and would be based on your individual needs.
